PostSubject: Admins Forum NewsLetter   Sun Mar 16, 2008 8:37 pm

Well here we are on the threshold of another
new week. Smile

This weekend has seen this forum officially open and
welcome it's first new member, Maggie, and with her
help our post count has jumped from 30 something to
94 over the past couple of days. Many thanks for your
posts Maggie. a_goodjob.gif

I must say it feels strange having a forum again after so
long not having one. Hopefully I'll soon get back into the
swing of being in the driving seat again. Laughing

It's certainly good to have someone to talk to here though
after the long 'setting up' period and being here on my own.

Well, lets hope that it won't be too long before we can welcome
another new member to join us Maggie. In the meantime, we can
iron out any little creases we come across eh ? 29.gif

Now, at 2.30AM, it's time I got off here and retired to bed, not
because I'm particularly tired, but I'm starting to ache from sitting
so long. Laughing

I hope you all have a good week ahead and take care everyone.

Best Wishes RoseCandle/Admin.

Hi there everyone Smile

Well it's a week today since I decided to open this
forum for membership and Maggie immediately joined
up as my first member.

Since then the forum has grown both with members and
posts. We have gained 3 more members, the most recent
one being 'Canny' - hi there Canny, it's great to see you
popping to say hello etc. hug

Our post count has gone from 94 on Monday to 330 today Shocked
This is a great achievement and my thanks go to Maggie
and Canny for your contributions this week. a_goodjob.gifhug

TOPICS AND REPLIES

Looking at the news items we have posted here this week,
it has occurred to me that perhaps some people may feel a
little 'overwhelmed' by some of them and not sure what to
put in reply. Some reports can leave the most talkative of
us 'speechless' by their content. Others are so sad it is hard
to find words to express what we feel.

I would just like to say this:

Please don't feel that you are expected to give a 500 word reply
to all the topics. The main purpose of this forum is to be aware of
what is happening in the world around us and to remember these
situations in our thoughts and prayers, whether on the forum or
in the quietness of our homes.

If your not sure what to say, a simple statement like:
"Praying for this situation/person eusa_pray" Or even just Posting one
of our 'candles' is sufficient for others to know that we care
about and are trying to support those people and situations.

I am sure that, if the people involved knew of these simple
thoughts, prayers and candles, they would greatly appreciate
them. And so do I, because the purpose of this forum will be
fulfilled on behalf of those people. So Thank You all for your
efforts.

I guess that's it for this weeks report so I will just finish by saying

I hope you all

and a Day

Best wishes for the coming week too everyone rainbowhgs
